Bauhinia purpurea-Purple Orchid Tree

Hardy tree or shrub. Medium growth to 25' tall.  Semi-evergreen in mild winters.  Beautiful show of orchid-purple flowers from winter to spring. Fits in nicely in both tropical and desert landscapes.
