Albizia julibrissin 'E. H. Wilson' - Hardy Silk Tree, E. H. Wilson Mimosa
Hardy Silk Tree is an attractive, medium-growing deciduous tree that typically grows to a height of 20-30 feet with an equally wide umbrella shaped canapy. Fine, feathery leaves and pink puffball flowers make this an attractive garden tree. It can be grown in standard or multi trunk form. It likes high heat in the summer and tolerates a wide variety of water and soil conditions but does best with regular watering. Hardy Silk Tree differs from the regular variety of Silk Tree by being more cold hardy, to 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
