Alyogyne huegelii 'Santa Cruz'
Alyogyne huegelii is one of our favorites, a long-blooming, drought-tolerant shrubby member of the Mallow family that is not actually a true Hibiscus. The name comes from how the flowers resemble a Hibsicus flower. Just as striking! Grows to about 6 to 10 feet tall and and has a sprawling habit. Prune after flowering to keep a more compact shape. Full sun or part shade and is frost tolerant down to about 25 degrees.
