Quercus virginiana 'Cathedral' - Cathedral Live Oak
Cathedral Live Oak is a moderate to fast growing evergreen tree that grows in a dense, pyramid form like that of a church steeple, in contrast to the sprawling form of Southern Live Oak. Mature trees average a height of about 40-80 feet. Cathedral Live Oak has small oblong dark green leaves and produces medium-sized acorns in fall. It grows well in full sun with regular water and rich soil.
